By using FlowState ("the app"), you agree to these terms. We tried to make them actually readable.
1. What FlowState is
FlowState is an AI-powered study companion for high-school students, built by two Milken students. It pulls your assignments from Blackbaud (via a public iCal feed you provide), helps you build study plans, and offers an AI tutor named Flowy.
2. You agree to
- Use the app for legit study help, not to cheat.
- Never share your account with anyone else.
- Not abuse, hack, or try to break the app.
- Not use Flowy to write essays for you, get test answers, or cheat in any way. We will detect it. Flowy is built to refuse.
- Be respectful — no slurs, hate speech, or harassment toward Flowy or other users.
- Be at least 13 years old (or have parent permission if under 13).
3. Cheating policy
FlowState is built to never give you direct answers to homework, tests, or quizzes. Flowy will help you understand concepts and walk through HOW to think — but never do the work for you. If you try to trick Flowy into cheating (jailbreaks, role-play, "ignore your rules"), the message gets flagged and we'll be notified. Repeat attempts may lead to account suspension.
4. Account suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You can appeal by emailing getflowstateai@gmail.com.
5. AI accuracy
Flowy is an AI. It can be wrong. Don't blindly trust its answers — always verify with your teacher, textbook, or another source. We are not responsible for any consequences of AI-generated content.
6. No warranty
FlowState is provided "as-is" with no warranties. We do our best, but stuff breaks. Use at your own risk.
7. Not affiliated
FlowState is built by Milken students but is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by Milken Community School, Blackbaud, OpenAI, or any other organization mentioned in the app.
8. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. We'll post the new version here and notify users if anything material changes.
